Spain Revisited

Thought I would upload a couple of recently done LO's tonight. The photos were taken while DH and I were in Spain last year. Both are very simple and were done with just cardstock and some odds and ends from my stash. As they are both for the 'Spain' album I have done both the titles in Spanish. Translated the titles are The Bull (El Toro) and I love you always (Te Quiero Siempre).

Weekend Happenings

As its Sunday night, and, as I have not updated my blog for a few days I thought I had better make the effort and do something. So lets start with a weekend update....

Shopping with a couple of lurvely friends (Joan and Jules) was planned for Saturday but Joan was a bit poorly and unable to make it so just Jules and I headed for Surrey and a couple of craft shops. First stop was Crafts U Love where I bouught 3 new Magnolias, Tilda with Tulips, Shy Tilda and Rufus the dog, oh and I also got some new cricut mats. After CUL we headed for the Craft Barn but stopped for a drink and something to eat in the cafe next door first, it was such a lovely sunny afternoon that we sat in the conservatory. We could have stayed there for much longer but stash shopping was calling!! We were both very good in the CB, I bought some scissors, inkpads and 3d foampads (I did also get a set of copic ciao's but DH paid for them so they dont really count in my haul!!). Soon it was time to head home, Tom came and picked me up from London Bridge and we spent the evening at home with some tapas that I cooked.

Today has been much more relaxing, stayed indoors all day. Have made 4 more cards, 3for my stock and 1 that my sister asked for. I also managed 3 LO's I will try and upload some pictures tomorrow night.

Will try to remember to 'blog' some more during the week. TFL. x x

Monday again.....

Well its Monday again, where on earth does the weekend go??

Had a lovely weekend, DH bought me a new Kipling bag for Valentines Day which we celebrated on Friday 13th Feb as we had plans for the 14th. We were actually heading down to Teynham to help Jules, Dan and Tinks out in their new home. We had a lovely day with them and managed to get quite a bit done. The house is beautiful and suits Jules perfectly. Cant wait to go back when everything is unpacked and see it in all its glory.

Sunday was another chilling out day. I made cards and played in the craft room while DH watched football, golf, tennis, cricket on TV!!

Anyway made a couple more cards tonight with my new Pink Tilda with Rose. One is for someone at work and one is for a friends daughter. I really like this stamp, I think she is my fave of all the ones I have. :)

A Valentines Card

Posting tonight to upload a card I have made for DH for Valentines Day. I wasnt going to make him a card as I have already bought one but thought I would have a go at making a quick card. I cut the hearts on the cricut and then run them through the cuttlebug in an embossing folder (Denny I have played and I am loving the embossing folders now!). I mounted them on the card on 3d foam and added some gems to the swirls. The wording was also cut on the cricut using the Storybook font. Finally I added some larger red gems to the corners of the cards.

Its Friday tomorrow, yay!! Looking forward to the weeked and to seeing a lurvely friend who we are helping to move into her new house.
Edited to say have a look at Caz's Gorjuss blog candy, there is a fab prize to be had if you are lucky. The link is here and in my fave blogs:- http://aloadofoldblogocks.blogspot.com/2009/02/gorjuss-blog-candy.html

Wet and windy Wednesday....

As its another wet and windy evening I headed straight for home after work (not that I ever usually go anywhere else!!). After tackling a bit of HW I 'played' for a little while in the PPoC. Tom has got me a tv for my lovely little room so I needed to make some space for it which meant I had to move some of my stash about. Once its all properly arranged I will take some pictures to show you.
Last night I managed to make three cards, have attached pics of a couple of them, hope you like them.

Rainy Monday Evening

Well thats Monday over with. It was pouring with rain when I got off the tube tonight and I got soaked on the way home even though I had my brolly up.

I made a quick card tonight for my friend Claires birthday tomorrow. Its one of my Magnolia's that I coloured in with pro-markers. I used some core-dinations cardstock and Basic Grey paper to mount the card, finished it off with a layered flower and some ribbon I have had in my stash for ages.

This year I am planning to make a card for every layout I do, so as I did 6 yesterday I need to make a few more this week before I do any more scrapping!

A little bit more...

Still playing about to get my head around blogging. Am going to try and attach a picture of a LO I did a couple of weeks ago to this post. If it works the paper is just a random sheet I have had in my stash for ages, hearts were cut on my Cricut and the pic is of me and hubby in Spain last year.
