A Weekend in Oxford

A bit late in posting this, had planned to do it Sunday or Monday but just never got round to it. Oh well, guess its better than nothing!!

Last weekend was spent in Oxford with my DH and some lurvley friends. We spent 2 wonderful days eating, drinking, talking and walking and taking in the stunning sights of Oxford. Linda and Lee were fantastic hosts and Jules, Tinks, Denny and Mark were great company. Oh and I mustnt forget Claire, Lottie and Sam who also came to visit. All in all it was a fabulous weekend that was over far too quickly.

On our way to Linda's house on the Friday Tom and I popped into Bicester where I treated myself to a Cath Kidson bag (well it was payday!!). I also bought Tom a t-shirt but he is not allowed to have it yet as its a birthday pressie.
Have attached a few of the many pictures I took at the weekend. Hope you like them.

More Cards

Its been a while since I last posted here so apologies, I will try harder to be a good blogger.
The weekend before last I spend a fab day with my lurvlie friend Denny. We played with pro-markers, copics, magnolias and stamping up goodies, temptation was eveywhere!! Tom came down later to pick me up and Mark provided us all with a tasty supper. It was a perfect way to spend a Satuday. Thanks Denny and Mark.

This weekend just gone involved a little trip to the Craft Barn where I bought myself a few goodies and Tom bought me another set of Copic pens, I now have 3 out of the 4! I also managed to make a few more cards, all of which were made with left overs from layouts I have done.Have attached a fews pics, one of the cards I made at the weekend, one of my Mums Mothers Day Card and an engagement card for my friend Kat and her new fiancee Mike.

More Layouts

Here are a couple more LO's that I managed to do over the weekend.

The Craft Corner one is not my usual style, its a bit more messy and grungy than I normally like but I wanted to do something a bit different. I have used basic grey papers, thickers that I have inked up, the arrows were cut on my cricut. The picture is of our spare room (which housed craft croner) 'before' it was transformed into the PPoC. A layout of 'after' will follow as soon as get some decent photos.

The other LO is of a picture I took through the card windscreen while we were travelling home from Barnsley last year. We hit a really heavy rain storm on our journey which created the rainbow. As I had my camera to hand I couldnt resist taking a photo. I have used bazzil spotty cardstock, the scallop square is papermania, the bling was added with my bejeweller, the chipboard flourish was inked, glazed and glittered, the journalling slip is making memories and the title is thickers.
