Update Time Again

Afternoon all from a very cold S.E London...no snow here as yet and fingers crossed that we dont get any. Yes I agree it looks very nice but when you have to go to work its not good at all, especially when there is yet another tube strike to contend with.

We have had a busy couple of weeks, last weekend we went to Scotland to see Michele, Ray and the gang. We had a great time, lots of chatting, eating and drinking took place and we are now on a countdown to Portugal 2011 (thanks Ray!!). Oh and I came back with a new tattoo which was designed and inked for me by Micheles nephew Ian the Comedian. I love it, it is to mark our wedding vow renewal in Vegas this year. A few people have said they dont like it or agree with me getting it but hey I am a grown up and its my arm so I shall do what I like with it!!

This weekend was Scarlett's 6th birthday, where does the time go to? It does not seem like 6 years since we got the phone call to let us know she was on her way.....have attached a picture of her with her birthday cake, which as always is a chocolate caterpillar cake.

Tom is at work today so I have made the most of the peace and quiet by doing some scrapping, below are a couple of the layouts I have completed. Both are pics from Portugal this year, hope you like them.

Thanks for checking out my blog.....

Scrapping Time

Evening all....

Just a quick post from me this evening to show you some of the layouts I have completed this weekend, sorry the photo quality is not all that. I really should have taken the pictures earlier today. Trouble is if I hadnt of done it this evening the layouts would have gone in an album and would never have been photographed.

All the layouts were done using my Total Papercrafts kits, and all have been 'tweaked' to suit my pictures. The pearl and bling swirls on the layout of me and Natalie was done using my Bazzil Jewel templates which I just love, they are my fave scrapping tool right now. For the Beer Buddies layout I cut the title on my cricut using the George cartridge. Finally on the Ryder Cup layout I used Thickers for the title which for once were a nightmare to use they would just not peel off the sheet!!!!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend....

Autumn Days

Evening all...

Well here we are again at the end of another weekend. Its been a week or so since I last updated so I thought I would be a good blogger and come and let you know what we have been up to and share some new pictures with you.

To be honest we have not been that busy of late and I have to say its been really nice having a couple of weekends to do what we want. We have made a start on our Christmas shopping although we still have a long way to go but I guess something is better than nothing!! We had better get a move on though and get the rest of it organized as I want to get it all done as soon as possible, dont want any last minute rushing about if I can help it.

This weekend has been really nice, yesterday we made a trip down to Margate to see Clare, Len and Stan to celebrate Stans 6th birthday. It was great to see them all again and I managed to get plenty of cuddles & kisses from my gorgeous god-son Stan. Afterwards we popped in to see Jules in her new lovely home, it was only a quick visit as we needed to get home for Daisy but hopefully we will be back to see Jules and Tinks soon (and not fogetting Dan if he is home and Lucy & Flo!).

Today, after a long lie in, we headed out to Dulwich Park with Daisy. Its the first time we have ever been there and it was really lovely, the park was full of other dog walkers, families and runners and everyone was very friendly ineed stopping to say hello and pay Daisy a bit of attention. The park looked gorgeous, the Autumn colours were amazing and I manage to get quite a few pics which at some point I will get round to scrapping. I have attached a couple for you to see, hope you like them.

So after a walk in the park for all of us, a little play with Barney for Daisy and a lovely steak dinner for us (with a couple of glasses of wine) its time to curl up on the sofa and enjoy whats left of the weekend.

Thanks for looking and see you all soon X X
