Red Ribbons Cyber Crop

This weekend just gone was a cyber crop for the House that my team over on UKS are in. Thanks so much for all your hard work Sandra and Jo. I only managed a couple of the challenges as I was busy doing other stuff but I really enjoyed it. You never know I might just go back and pick up a couple more challenges to do at a later date.

Here is the first one which was challenge two....based on Shimelle's starting point chall-ahnge

The second was I did (sorry cant remember challenge number) was to scraplift a layout that was in your UKS favourites, funnily enough I had added a layout Saturday evening so this was an easy choice.

I also made a couple of Christmas cards at the weekend, will get some photos so I can upload to share with you.

Hope you all had a good weekend, TFL x x

A Little Bit of Card Making

Evening all...

Thought I would pop by and share a couple of pictures with you all of some of the cards that I made yesterday. They are all for sale so if anyone is interested please get in touch.

The images were all coloured by me using my Copic Ciao pens. The 'flower' sentiment on each card is by Craftwork Cards and the mulberry flowers on the cards are by Wild Orchid Crafts.

Thanks for looking, I am planning on making a few more cards in the coming weeks so keep checking back. X x

A Couple more Layouts to Share

I meant to get back here earlier in the week to upload these layouts but I just didn't get round to it.

The first one is of the fabulous and fantastic Barry Manilow who I went to see at the O2 in May of this year. I am a HUGE Bazza fan so the chance to see him perform over here with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was one of the highlights of the year. He is the ultimate showman and always puts on a great show. Just waiting for it to be released on DVD now so I can enjoy it all over again........

The second layout I have to share is of when I went to see Take That with Sharon, Sally and Stella. We went to see the Circus tour a couple of years ago which was fantastic so when Sharon offered me the chance of a ticket for the Progress tour I literally jumped for joy!! It was a wonderful night, the boys (including Robbie) put on a fab show and of course it was great to see the girls again. Again, as soon as the DVD is released I shall be re-living the whole night all over again and again and agin!!! LOL

Hope your all having a good weekend and thanks for looking. X x

Kingshill Crop

This weekend was a Kingshill Crop weekend, something I had been looking forward to for ages especially as I missed the last one. I had not done much scrapping over the last few weeks as I was busy finishing Chris's book and Aprils box so I was really glad of the chance to get together with the girls and spend a day scrapping.

I was set a challenge of sorts by the lovely Sandra which was to do at least 4 layouts which I more than managed!! I actually did 5 layouts although technically I guess it would be & 3/4's as the last one needed a little bit of tweaking to finish it.

So here are a couple of pictures of what I did yesterday, sorry the images are not that good, I really need to learn to take better pics of my work....

I have a couple more layouts that I completed today to photograph and upload, will get that done later this week.

Today is the 10th anniversary of 9/11. I really cannot believe that its been 10 years since that dreadful day, watching some of the footage of it on tv all over again made it seem like it was just a couple of months ago. My thoughts and prayers are with those that lost loved ones in the attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvannia.

Hope you have all had a good weekend, Jane x x

The Hob Nob Cup 2011

Last Saturday saw us at the very first Hob Nob Cup, a fun family day organized by my cousin's Maria & Jon and Karen & Peter to raise money for the charity we are all supporting in memory of Hayley.

The Hob Nob cup was, for this year an under 10's football tournament comprising of 3 teams from Hampshire and 1 from Dartford. Maria's son Alex plays for one of the Hampshire Teams (Liphook Dragons) and Jon's son Lewis plays for the Dartford team (Dartford YMCA). It was a fab tournament with some very close played games, however in the end Dartford YMCA won the cup, aided by a penalty which was scored by Lewis. The older 'boys' also had a kick about (Hampshire vs Dartford), this game was just for fun and was splendidly won by the boys from Hampshire, winning goal scored by Hayley's boyfriend Chris. She really must have been watching over us all, the weather was great and her cousin and boyfriend scored winning goals for their teams.

After the football we held a raffle and auction, the proceeds of which will all go to Changing Faces. We managed to raise just over three thousand pounds on the day which is a fantastic amount of money and it will go a long way to helping make a difference to someone's life. That money added to what has already been raised brings us to a grand total of around ten thousand pounds, Hayley would be so proud.

Tomorrow I am off to a crop with my buddy Jules, am hoping to complete at least 3 or 4 layouts. Will be back soon to share them with you.

Hope you all have a good weekend. X x
