Thought I would make a quick post to share with you a couple of the layouts I did at the Kings Hill Crop yesterday (as usual a fab day full of fun, chat and scrapping - thanks ladies).

The first layout was done using Bazzil card stock and Basic Grey Kioshi papers. The title is American Crafts Thickers and the bling swirl was hand glued using a Bazzil Jewel template and gems that I bought from Ebay. The scalloped circle was cut using Nestabilities and my Cuttlebug. The pictures were taken in Spain, early one evening while we were sitting on our terrace.

For the second layout I also used pictures that were taken in Spain, this cute bunny rabbit could often be seen hopping about the gardens of Las Gardenias. The pattered paper I used here is Sei Dill Garden and as I had 2 sheets I used one as the base and one I cut into and 3d'd onto the page. The journalling spot was done using a Cats Life Press stamp and the green ribbon was left over from an old Total Papercraft's kits.

Hope you like what I have done, thanks for stopping by.

A Walk in the Park

A couple of weeks ago hubby and I woke early on a Sunday morning, and as it had the makings of being a dry and pleasant day we decided to head off to Dulwich Park with Daisy.

As it was early there were not a lot of people about which made it even nicer, at times we felt like we had the park to ourselves. We let Daisy off the lead for a run and she had great fun playing in the leave and chasing the squirrels!!

Although I am a summer girl I do love the colours of Autumn so I took the camera along as well to try and capture some of the splendour of the reds and golds that were abundant among the trees and plants of the park. I have uploaded just a few of the pics I took for you to see, hope you like them.

In Memory of Hayley

My cousin posted the following on her Facebook page earlier today and I am sharing it with you all as I think its a fabulous idea and another way of raising more money for Changing Faces:-

Adam, Hayley's cousin thought it would be a nice idea to look at getting wristbands for Hayley and Changing Faces. These will be pink and white wristbands and be debossed with the wording: "changing for Hayley ♥" They will cost £5 for each wristband or 2 for £8. At least £3 from each band will go to changing faces - the more we purchase the cheaper the unit cost so more will go to the charity. If anyone is interested in getting one, please let me know asap as Adam needs to send the money off with thr order no later than 30th November. x x

So far an amazing £11,741.00 has been raised in in Hayley's name and that is such a wonderful tribute to her memory. If anyone would like a wristband can you please let me know by either leaving a comment on here, or on my Facebook wall.

Have added a pic of a layout I did earlier this year, its of me, Maria and Hayley.
